The high altitude, reaching up to 1,440 meters above sea level on Slovakia’s highest groomed cross-country ski trail (Malý Líščí Loop), ensures skiing conditions even when other areas are without snow. The trails are located in the pristine wilderness of the Low Tatras National Park, right in the heart of the mountain range.

In addition to long ascents for performance athletes, the routes offer recreational skiers scenic excursions with breathtaking views—not only of the Low, High, and Western Tatras but also of the Horehronie region and the Muránska Planina plateau.
